Romania

Currently at a campsite on the outskirts of Bucharest.  Popping into the city later to have a look at the Presidents Palace to see where all the money went.  Roamnia is a strange country.  Stunning scenery which suprised me but litter everywhere.  We wildcamped in a beautiful gorge but there were piles of litter all over.  A couple of Romania guides took us extrenme walking in the gorge, which consisted of us climbing a sheer rockface with the aid of a rope.  Extreme even by my standards, but we made it safely to the top.  Very good fun.  First night in a hotel last night and the first sign of rain.  Went for a quick run but don't think it's the done thing around here.  People were staring, obviously impressed by my athletic skills!!  Campings great, food is amazing, especially when I'm on cook group.  I'll put some photos on soon when I figure out how to!

Hungary

A great campsite in Hungary set in a wooded glade.  I've just been for a walk up a whacking big hill with great scenary all the way.  Great weather as well which helps.  There's lots of Hungarian families taking a Sunday stroll .  It's like going back 30 years to when England was like that with families enjoying each others comapany.  First wild camp tomorrow in Romania.  Looking forward to that.  It's hard work this travelling lark!!

Europe!!

Currently in Prague, very busy city.  Lots of young English tourists are arriving for a weekend out. Castle was
stunning with great views at the top.  Spent Sunday night in Belgium, tried the local beer, Monday and Tuesday in Cologne, tried the local beer and Wednesday night in Bamburg, tried the local beer!!  Should be nice and round by the time I return.  Bamburg is my favorite so far, totally deserving of it;s World Heritage status.  Slovakia and Hungary tomorrow, might try some local beer for a change.
