Krgyzstan.

Nick tries out the water!
Just spent nearly two weeks camping in the mountains of Krgyzstan. The countryside has been amazing ranging from snow capped mountains to forest trails and fast flowing rivers. We camped at Lake Son Kol which was amazing, some of the best scenery I have ever seen. The colours in the lake combined with the blue in the sky has to be seen to be believed. Went for a couple of runs but the altitude of over 3,000 meters makes running even harder than normal and I huffed and puffed like a good un. I did have to keep stopping and looking at the views as well! Nothing new there then. This is definately a country I would love to visit again to do some trekking and would highly recommend it My favourite so far. Went horse riding a couple of times as well. I don't know who was more scared me or the horses but it turned out to be very gentle which suited me fine. The local people are so friendly and welcoming. They don't have much but wish to share everything. A game of goat polo was demonstrated to us and I gave my england shirt as a prize, which was no loss to me after the result against Germany! We had a fancy dress party on the truck which involved most of the boys dressing as girls. Some seemed to enjoy it more than others (Simon)!! I have got the photos to prove it.

Just made it!
